As far as cool car videos go, this one from AutoChannel.com (via Wired), in which Formula One driver David Coulthard takes his first electric-vehicle spin in a Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing E-Cell, is a bit iffy: At nine minutes running time, it's overlong; the editing is sloppy; and the audio plays some games. That said, it's also pretty cool to see a racing legend blown away by the electric Mercedes' performance (after all, its four electric motors produce 526 horsepower and 649 lb-ft of instantly available torque). Now, can we just do something about that garish yellow?
