Daimler is recalling 85,000 American-market Mercedes-Benz cars to fix a power-steering flaw. The voluntary recall affects 2010 C-Class and E-Class models, and 2011 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet models. Daimler said that steering systems in the affected vehicles could suffer a loss of hydraulic fluid, leading to a complete loss of steering assist and possible loss of control.
