Americans take pride in their pickup trucks -- or so says the halftime advertising during any given NFL game. Still, in many ways the pickup is one of the iconic American vehicles, so it's good that Detroit models took the top three spots in Kelley Blue Book's ranking of new pickups for the past year. Taking the top spot was the Ford F-150 -- KBB calls it "strong and refined in every aspect -- while the Ram 1500 and Chevy Silverado rounded out the top three spots. Bringing up the rear for the top five were two Japanese trucks: the Toyota Tundra and the Nissan Titan.
