After some pics were leaked last week, Mercedes-Benz decided to release official photos of the production version of its 2012 CLS before the car's official public debut at the Paris Auto Show. The elongated hood remains, though there's a tweak to the design of the full LED headlights, with three layers of lights cramming in 71 LEDs total. The prominent radiator grille from the last iteration becomes more prominent, jutting out from the hood.
All in all, it's quite the beautiful machine.
